More details are coming out about the day Hayden Panettiere died in Greenville, South Carolina. According to E! News, Brian Hickerson’s brother, Zach Hickerson, said Brian gave Panettiere Narcan after the pair found her unconscious in the apartment where she was staying.
Zach told TMZ that he called 911 right away and that he and Brian performed CPR while the emergency call was on speaker until fire and EMS arrived. He said he spoke publicly to help cut down on speculation while the investigation continues.
Panettiere died on Aug. 16 at age 36. Greenville County Coroner Mike Ellis said an autopsy found no signs of trauma that would have contributed to her death, but the official cause and manner of death have not yet been released.
Police said the preliminary investigation has not shown signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. In a release, the coroner’s office said first responders arrived after a 911 call at about 1:51 p.m., found Panettiere in cardiac arrest, and were unable to revive her.
