Pierre “P” Thomas, the co-founder and CEO of Quality Control Music, has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack, according to Rolling Stone.
The label said in a social media statement that Thomas is alive and receiving medical care. Representatives asked fans to keep him and his family in their thoughts and to give them privacy during this time.
The statement came after false and conflicting posts on social media suggested Thomas had died. Variety reported that he is being treated at a hospital in Las Vegas and is in the ICU.
Thomas runs Quality Control alongside Kevin “Coach K” Lee. The label’s roster has included artists such as Lil Baby, Quavo and JT, and former signees include Yung Miami, Offset and Stefflon Don.
