Peta Murgatroyd is opening up about how her family’s move from Los Angeles to Florida is going so far, and she says they are settling in well.
In an Instagram Stories video shared Aug. 21, according to E! News and Us Weekly, Murgatroyd said she and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have long loved Florida’s lifestyle. She noted that Boca Raton offers a lot of what they wanted, including being close to Miami, having the beach nearby, and access to highly rated schools and sports for their sons.
Murgatroyd, who shares Shai, 9, Rio, 3, and Milan, 2, with Chmerkovskiy, said convenience has been a major plus in their new home. She described everything as being within a short drive and said that is especially helpful now that they are raising three boys.
She also said the neighborhood community has been warm and welcoming, adding that her children are already being invited on playdates. While she said California will always feel like home after 20 years there, Murgatroyd emphasized that the family is happy with the move and enjoying this new chapter.
