Anna Faris is opening up about the conversations she has with her son Jack about religion. In an interview on the Dear Chelsea podcast, according to E! News, the actress said her 14-year-old is more devout than she is.
Faris said she did not grow up with religion, but Jack has asked her to accept Jesus Christ. She told host Chelsea Handler that she would do anything for her son, though those discussions would take a lot of time and conversation.
The actress said Jack handles those talks with maturity and calm. She described him as emotionally steady and said he does not get rattled easily.
Faris also said she tries to challenge Jack during their discussions by asking him questions about pro-life views and her concerns about certain pastors. She said she appreciates that he is examining religion critically and recognizing hypocrisy, and she values being able to have those long conversations with him.
